ndrea Lee is an aspiring LPGA Tour Star, highlighted with her win in the first major event at the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee has been successful at every level including at Standford University earning 9 wins throughout her college career, and playing for 17 weeks as the top Women's Amateur player throughout the World. She won the Mark H. McCormack medal in 2019 as the highest-ranked women's amateur at the end season. The following year, she made the switch to professional. The former amateur champion Andrea Lee is now making a name for herself as a professional player. This American LPGA Tour athlete has some surprising facts that you didn't know. Andrea Lee, born 15 August 1998, is from Los Angeles. James taught her how to golf as early as she was just 5 years old. In four years she won 50 junior championships. The year 2014 was the time she made it to the finals of the US Women's Open in Pinehurst No. It was her 15th birthday and her father was her caddie. At the age of 15, her father was a caddie. LPGA Tour invited her as one of their sponsors to the her 2015 ANA Inspiration, where she reached the cut only just one stroke. Lee was also awarded the Mark H. McCormack Award for the year 2019, having finished the season at the top of the amateur ranking. Lee scored four hole-in ones and one albatross when she was an amateur. When she made her debut on the LPGA Tour, Lee had two top 10 results. She placed T7 in the 2020 AIG Women's Open held at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee took home the first LPGA Tour triumph at the Portland Classic in 2022.
